My Craft Smith Planner

For several years I've always wanted a Filofax type of planner and by that, I mean a 6 ring binder planner no matter what brand as long as I'm happy with it. Every year I would watch other people's planners and 90% of them would be this kind of planner. For some reason, I've always wanted to have one and clearly, I've had a while to decide before purchasing my first so I was pretty sure about this new way of planning. Believe it or not, I have never had so much done quicker since I started using this.

Now I ain't saying that everyone should use this because we all work differently. I must add that I envy those who can remember most things just in their heads! But most of us needs a planner to get things done. Some only use technology and it works fine for them. I've tried that and it's not perfectly suited for me. My phone dies and sometimes I miss the alarms for doctor appointments and such. That's a big no-no for me. Writing something down physically works better for me and my phone becomes a plus instead (just in case). But the difference (in my opinion) between a regular planner and a ring binder is that regular ones are limited. Maybe you're a sports type of person and you only want a planner specifically for that or just a regular one where you simply write down what you're supposed to do that day.
A ring binder is more of an unlimited type of planner. You can add whatever you want. Keep track on dates like a regular planner and add dividers for maybe meals, training or exams.

Bought a refill to replace the weekly sheets from the Craft Smith Calendar pack. This is because it already has the dates filled and I can't trust to do that myself without making a mistake and without knowing about it. It also includes all the national holidays which is important for me.

Rain Drops
I planned another blog post for today but it ain't ready yet so this one will have to be the backup. Whenever I went through this type of situation it would always take me weeks or sometimes even a few months before I publish anything at all. Yes, I did think about making backup posts before but even the backups would feel not good enough. Now I've learned to remind myself that it is ok that things aren't always perfect. 
 
Explaining what happened..

6 months has passed before I recently started blogging again. Here I'll be trying to explain what happened and why I wasn't able to blog.

Long story short I was under a lot of stress and my laptop was extremely slow and made it almost impossible for me to edit a set of photographs. I would fall asleep in front of my laptop just waiting for things to work faster or just work period. So one day I wanted to clean up everything hoping that it would help make things better. But when it was time to update my laptop it completely died. Luckily a neighbor who has also become a friend to me (I don't know if should mention his name so I'll just skip it) was awesome enough to help and somehow fix my laptop. I didn't think it was possible to fix that problem so I am very grateful for his help. The only problem was that I didn't have my adobe programs at the time so I was still not able to edit and do illustrations.

For Christmas, I finally got a new laptop and about a month later I also got all my adobe programs back. I was probably the luckiest person at the time. Well, that's how I felt.

So that is basically the main reason why I didn't blog during a very long period and also I've kept myself busy a bit before I got back to blogging.
