I honestly don't know much about this event. Haha, what a great start Carol. Sorry guys, I only knew the basics when I attended and it was my first time. Last night I wanted to write what year Sommartorsdagarna first started and at the time I was talking to Lizel on the phone and she said something like 27 years while I was searching. I thought I heard wrong but then I realized that she was right. Sommartorsdagarna started in the year 1989! I think it's amazing that Borås has an event every week of the summer ever since then with different musicians, competitions and family gathering. Some people come to Borås from other locations in Sweden. Lizel has been there a few times at least. I also wanted to experience this event at least once and I have no regrets on choosing this day.

LOOK AT THIS CUTIE. I mean, it's not the highlight of the day but who wouldn't want to stop and say hi to this beautiful dog! Lizel was walking fast towards the stage and I was way behind her wanting to pet the dog so bad or at least take a picture. When I got my way to Lizel I told her that I saw this really cute dog and she knew exactly what I wanted to do so she immediately went there I didn't want to feel alone taking a picture of someone else's dog. I would have asked the owner if I could pet their dog but the owners were not even there so I didn't get the chance to pet this beautiful dog. Yup. Now you know I love dogs. Speaking of dogs, I was taking a walk the other day and I met a girl walking her dog and she kindly let me take a picture AND pet her dog. Stay tuned for that post along with other photos!
I still have some photos that I did not upload on this post. So I may make another post for that!. Except for the performance, Lizel and I had photos from earlier this day that are alike so I decided to add some that she may not have captured, hehe. Lizel and I do have our differences in our style of photos and editing but we do have the same attraction to what we capture and most of the time we see it at the same and end up taking pictures of that moment of action.

I've seen Albin & Mattias perform at least once before and I unexpectedly took a picture with Mattias last year in August. I never shared it though and I usually never go to meet & greet except being on the side so that I can take pictures of the musicians with their fans. Now that I think about it. When I took a photo with Mattias, it wasn't a meet & greet. He was just there and I made a split decision haha. I don't expect Mattias to read this but JUST IN CASE HE DOES... TACK SÅ MYCKET!
Hehe, back to the topic! Albin and Mattias are duos. They are one of the very few Swedish musicians/songwriters that I actually like and listen to. Now that I also know about Niello's existence, he has also become one of them! I hope that all three keeps making loads more music (together or individually) because I honestly like their taste of music and even lyrics.

The editing part was surprisingly not a pain. I thought that some colors crossing each other would be messed up and harsh but thankfully it was just a few and easy to correct. Few of them are very quick edits because I gave up in the end when I started running out of time. You may see the difference on wich photos I didn't put much work on. Some photos that didn't have mixed colors but was too bright/neon-ish or in other words super saturated colors that didn't work well with the pixels so I just changed the shade a little to give a smoother look to it.
It may not be something that most people would think about or notice and it is the bond between Albin & Mattias. Just standing there watching them made me realize that they were not just duos but that they were a real team. That they have a real brotherhood ♥

I don't have much to write for this post. Lizel was there with me and I must give ya a heads up that some of our photos are alike but it's still different in some ways. Like our editing are different. Although Lizel has become very good in editing the past months which I am proud of, it's kind of scary sometimes when I see some of the results looking like my type of editing haha. Good thing though is that our results of editing concert photographs are not that alike. Anyways. Lizel writes much more facts, carefully and just more than me haha.
