Earth Hour 2018
Earth Hour was on March 24 at 8.30 pm to 9.30 pm (in your local time zone).
There are many ways to participate than just turning off lights. I originally wrote a lot on this post but it felt too much so I decided to keep it short and let y'all choose to know more by checking out the links I left below.
Earth Hour is only for an hour but if you’re really passionate about making an impact then maybe you can start doing things like this on a regular base.
These websites don't only have more info but also more options to choose from to participate. Whether it's during Earth Hour or any time of the year. You can also communicate with others who share the same concerns and passions about biodiversity as you do.

I've been sick lately and during Earth Hour so I was pretty much just at home alone and turned off all the lights and started lighting candles. I sat by the candles wearing comfy clothing and a blanket while thinking about our amazing earth
How do you #Connect2Earth ?
Sommartorsdagarna | Albin & Mattias ft. Niello
I honestly don't know much about this event. Haha, what a great start Carol. Sorry guys, I only knew the basics when I attended and it was my first time. Last night I wanted to write what year Sommartorsdagarna first started and at the time I was talking to Lizel on the phone and she said something like 27 years while I was searching. I thought I heard wrong but then I realized that she was right. Sommartorsdagarna started in the year 1989! I think it's amazing that Borås has an event every week of the summer ever since then with different musicians, competitions and family gathering. Some people come to Borås from other locations in Sweden. Lizel has been there a few times at least. I also wanted to experience this event at least once and I have no regrets on choosing this day.
◆ I'm gonna start this in order so we can save the best for last
LOOK AT THIS CUTIE. I mean, it's not the highlight of the day but who wouldn't want to stop and say hi to this beautiful dog! Lizel was walking fast towards the stage and I was way behind her wanting to pet the dog so bad or at least take a picture. When I got my way to Lizel I told her that I saw this really cute dog and she knew exactly what I wanted to do so she immediately went there I didn't want to feel alone taking a picture of someone else's dog. I would have asked the owner if I could pet their dog but the owners were not even there so I didn't get the chance to pet this beautiful dog. Yup. Now you know I love dogs. Speaking of dogs, I was taking a walk the other day and I met a girl walking her dog and she kindly let me take a picture AND pet her dog. Stay tuned for that post along with other photos!
I still have some photos that I did not upload on this post. So I may make another post for that!. Except for the performance, Lizel and I had photos from earlier this day that are alike so I decided to add some that she may not have captured, hehe. Lizel and I do have our differences in our style of photos and editing but we do have the same attraction to what we capture and most of the time we see it at the same and end up taking pictures of that moment of action.
◆ On 21st of July, Albin & Mattias was the main guest of the week, featuring Niello

I've seen Albin & Mattias perform at least once before and I unexpectedly took a picture with Mattias last year in August. I never shared it though and I usually never go to meet & greet except being on the side so that I can take pictures of the musicians with their fans. Now that I think about it. When I took a photo with Mattias, it wasn't a meet & greet. He was just there and I made a split decision haha. I don't expect Mattias to read this but JUST IN CASE HE DOES... TACK SÅ MYCKET!
Hehe, back to the topic! Albin and Mattias are duos. They are one of the very few Swedish musicians/songwriters that I actually like and listen to. Now that I also know about Niello's existence, he has also become one of them! I hope that all three keeps making loads more music (together or individually) because I honestly like their taste of music and even lyrics.
*I'm not sure if Mattias has a website so I linked it to his Instagram instead.
The editing part was surprisingly not a pain. I thought that some colors crossing each other would be messed up and harsh but thankfully it was just a few and easy to correct. Few of them are very quick edits because I gave up in the end when I started running out of time. You may see the difference on wich photos I didn't put much work on. Some photos that didn't have mixed colors but was too bright/neon-ish or in other words super saturated colors that didn't work well with the pixels so I just changed the shade a little to give a smoother look to it.
It may not be something that most people would think about or notice and it is the bond between Albin & Mattias. Just standing there watching them made me realize that they were not just duos but that they were a real team. That they have a real brotherhood ♥
❞ Albin & Mattias participated in Melodifestivalen 2016 with the song "Rik" (meaning: Rich) as they took on to Second Chance. "Rich" quickly became one of the 20 most-played songs on Spotify and have the current situation played more than five million times. Previously they have released last summer's big hit "Din Soldat" (meaning: Your Soldier) which is visited by Kristin Amparo. The single has sold five times platinum, was on Spotify's first place in the whole five weeks and was nominated for the year's best song in the P3 Guld, Rockbjönen and Grammis. ❞   –
I don't have much to write for this post. Lizel was there with me and I must give ya a heads up that some of our photos are alike but it's still different in some ways. Like our editing are different. Although Lizel has become very good in editing the past months which I am proud of, it's kind of scary sometimes when I see some of the results looking like my type of editing haha. Good thing though is that our results of editing concert photographs are not that alike. Anyways. Lizel writes much more facts, carefully and just more than me haha. So please go ahead and check out her post of Sommartordagarna! ◀︎◀︎◀︎

Happy Easter
Happy Easter sweeties! I hope y'all have a great time celebrating. I don't have much to share and I haven't done most of the things people usually do. I had plans for this day but I guess it'll have to be next easter instead. I wanted to do decorations and paint some eggs and maybe do some activities with my siblings. But that day will come :) So, let's get this post started.
When I was out shopping (mostly for valentine's) at a flower shop where I always go to, I saw that the store was almost empty. I first thought that it was because they had discounts so maybe many people came early and that I just missed most of it because I came near closing time. But no. One of the two people who were working there said that they had to close the store down. We didn't get deep into why but I just felt really sad for them. All I could say was that I'm sorry and wished them a brighter future.
Shortly after that I found a cute plant (haven't posted a photo of it yet) for myself. I didn't buy anything for mom because I didn't find anything, well I didn't had much to choose from either. So, I started thinking on where to go next (to find the flower for mom) and then right when I took the exit of the store, I found this nice one (photo above). I bought it as a gift for mom that is actually meant for Valentine's Day because I wasn't able to give her anything that time. The card was an earlier purchase meant for someone else but it matched with the flowers so I decided to give the card to my mom and I can buy a different one for the other person instead.
Right after purchasing the flowers and while my card in my wallet, I could see the woman (who also works at the store - let's say that her name was Lisa) from the corner of my eye giving some flowers to the guy I paid to (we can call him Ben) and basically heard something drop in my flower bag. I looked up, super confused like what just happened? Ben was just looking at me smiling as he was hiding something. I looked around quickly to see if Lisa was around but I couldn't see her. So I looked back at Ben and asked "did you guys do something when I looked away?", but the only response I got was a bigger smile.
I couldn't really think straight at the time so I grabbed my flower bag from the counter and checked if the pink flowers (wrapped with some think paper) was standing stable. That's when I saw the flowers above.
I said "so you guys DID put something in my bag..?!"^^ I asked why but I only got a smile back hehe. I wanted to hug them as a thank you and maybe because I am a hugger, but I didn't because I was sweating a bit. So I said thank you instead with a huge smile in my face.
Mom also had a little something for me haha, I literally felt like a five-year-old when I got this easter egg. I do love the coconut juice, though. It's one of my favorite drinks that I just can't say no to. Like. Ever. I LOVE COCONUT JUICE. It's the only thing I'd rather not share with anyone haha. I also a Pocky with strawberry flavor. My mom always buys Pocky for me for some reason. I rarely choose to buy one myself, but it's very sweet of her ♥
This is basically how the food was like nothing super traditional on this type of day but it was ALOT of food. It took some time to finish a plate, I had to take at least 2 breaks before I could finish!
I'm ending this post with a photo I took the other day. I don't know what to feel about this picture. I hesitated several times on sharing this. I also don't know why I'm going to. But.. I'm sharing it anyways...
